Urban Farming gone International.

KVUC Students from Denmark visit Kinawataka Demonstration Garden. The main purpose of the visit was to understand strategies the youths of Kinawataka are employing to adapt and mitigate the impacts of Climate Change.

BLESSING OF THE PUBLIC TOILET AT KINAWATAKA DEMONSTRATION GARDEN

On Sunday, 08th December 2024, REV. FR. JOHN BOSCO NAMBASI of Our Lady of Africa Mbuya Parish blessed the Public Toilet at Kinawataka Demonstration Garden and Green Space. The Public Toilet was constructed by One by One Initiative for Vulnerable Communities in Uganda (OBOIVU) with support from the Catholic Community of Bad Bramstedt and Kalten Kirchen in Northern Germany and the Thomas Children Foundation. The Public Toilet is expected to serve our 1000 community members among which will be Children, pupils and youths that come to use the Green Space.

ED successfully trained in GENDER EQUALITY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION by DANIDA

Our Executive Director, Mr. Paul Onyayowun receiving a Certificate after successfully completing the GENDER EQUALITY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION (GESI) Training from MS- TCDC Arusha, Tanzania. Training Young People to Make Re-usable Sanitary Pads.

With Support from LIVE LOVE LEARN HAMBURG GERMANY, We have trained 30 Young People to make Re-usable Sanitary Pads. "No More Missing School, Am covered" says Pamella, a 17 years old Pupil of Kiswa Primary School in Kampala.
